I really enjoyed the course and I learnt a lot about sustainability and the different aspects of living a sustainable life. I also learnt about the many effects that climate change has on different eco systems. The course has inspired me to be more conscious of the impact I am having on the environment. The course material, videos and activities were very well planned and organised, it was very easy to understand.

The session was really insightful. I had a good conversation on the environment, sustainability and the way forward. It was a really good start to my journey towards sustainability.

I have to say, it is a very innovative approach to understanding the nuances of Sustainability and ESG practices around the world. A good go-to program for someone wanting to increase knowledge in this sector. Also, the simulation, where you take the roles of different stakeholders in making a circular economy- is quite enticing, as well.

Aditi

As I was designing the game, I was focused on ensuring that more people were aware of the climate crisis by creating a simulation. Using many positive and negative reinforcement strategies, I tried to stimulate in people a sense of urgency so that they can apply the lessons learnt via the game in their daily life.

The email immediately made me interested and the course was even more fun. Unlike most courses this checked my understanding and the activities that it made me do just boosted my learning by a lot. Overall it was one of the most fun courses I had done in a while.

Create a Project that is:

  • Ecologically Regenerative
  • Socially Inclusive, and
  • Economically Sustainable

in the field of your chosen UN Sustainable Development Goal.

Top universities – Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Oxford, Cambridge, and many others  are now offering a variety of undergraduate programs in sustainability, that will provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to make a difference in he world.

The essence of Climate Action is in its practice and impact. With every career evolving to incorporate sustainability at its core, understanding the practical side of it is becoming increasingly important.

In this intensive 20-hour program, students learn to build a project that is ecologically, socially, and economically robust and creates measurable impact in each of these areas.

  1. Hands-on Experience of Building your own Unique Impact-Project: Choose a real problem, something you think can use your intervention mapping it to a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal Break it down to find a suitable point of intervention, something well with-in your scope of influence and design the ideal strategy to develop a solution. Define the impact metrics and evaluate the efficacy of your plan with the help and feedback from experts of your chosen field. And finally, Take it to the market execute your plan and see how it works wonders!
  2. Create Impact that Shows:

    • A new and improving idea for a product, create a prototype that works.
    • It could be a process that needs to become more efficient: develop a working model or run a pilot to demonstrate.
    • Maybe, it’s a old system or institution that is no longer serving it’s purpose. Make educated recommendations on how it must be upgraded.
    • And finally, it might just be a lack of awareness issue that you find most in your capacity to influence: throw an event or run a campaign and record the responses of your participants.
  3. Get Impact Certification and Personalized Recommendation: Aranyaarth is in the process of affiliating with the UN for our certification, and we will proudly celebrate and showcase the best projects on our social media platforms. You’d also get the opportunity to present your project our partner media platforms to amplify your profile.
  4. Join the Network of Sustainability Experts and Community of Like-Minded students from across the globe: Get a chance to learn from experts in the ESG domain, and other students passionate about sustainability and creating an impact! You’ll get the opportunity to interact with past students who launched successful projects and participate in Zoom conferences for youth to discuss the pressing issues of sustainability with like-minded peers.
  5. Get a Taste Of Entrepreneurship: Sustainability is a growing business sector, and even the large corporations are transforming themselves to make profits while restoring and regenerating the planet – and at all times making sure the growth is socially inclusive. By the end of the program, your project would be ready to go to make not only positive environmental and social impact, but also create economic value – in the next phase we can work on how you go about making it a venture.
